It is my absolute privilege to announce that the moment I’ve all been waiting for is here! Drakes Creek Park marks the very first official release of the Evaporate era!

This song is very special to me because it embodies the city I spent my youth in, Hendersonville, TN. Across the street from my high school Alma Mater, Drakes Creek Park is a recreational landing spot for a plethora of reasons: playgrounds, football, baseball/softball, and soccer fields, beautiful sites, and plenty of opportunities to throw a line in the water or feed the ducks and geese.

Growing up, it was a very popular and frequent landing spot. Whether we showed up at the volleyball courts to hang, went to watch a friend or loved one compete, or simply wanted get a jog in, Drakes Creek Park has the space, the scenery, and the vibe to harness the interests of our community.

Drakes Creek Park is an effort to capture that vibe as it attempts to turn literal reference into metaphors. Instrumentally and vocally, the song is performed as a community with no stand out performance. It is a perfect representation of harmony.

I hope you remember to stream Drakes Creek Park on November 21st! And don’t forget to pre-order your copy of Evaporate while supplies last!
